Nike James Blake Appearance
James Blake was another Nike Tennis star to make an appearance to help promote the US Open.
Kids from the Harlem Tennis Junior Association were present as well. It was especially poignant since James Blake grew up playing in Harlem with the HTJA. His former junior tennis coach was also at the event and he called him out in the crowd.
Blake gave an inspirational talk about how he overcame his spinal cord injury and the loss of his father, who was the greatest influence on his tennis career.
